If you are on Office 365 and you can't assess your account because of password problems here is what you need to do.
In Office 365 your organisation's administrator need to reset your password by selecting the user and choose reset password from menu on right.
A random TEMPORARY password is displayed. -
Next give this password to the user.
The USER then needs to go to the office 365 site and login with this TEMPORARY password - This MUST be done via a web browser using a PC or laptop.
They will then be prompted to enter the OLD Password (The temporary one)
and then Enter the new password twice to confirm.
This is then the new password. The user is logged out and need to log back in.
Once you have completed this then the new password can be used on mobile and other devices.
IMPORTANT- Until you use the temporary password to log into the Office 365 site using a web browser you will NOT be able to use your password on a phone or any other device.
This procedure ensures that only the user knows the password they are using. Not even the administrator should know the password.
This is for legal compliance reasons and is good security.
